How Two Sides Can Be Used
A double-sided display should not necessarily show a complete ordering menu on both faces. The content can be matched to the position of each viewer.
At a drive-thru location:
- The approach-facing side can show promotional items.
- The ordering-facing side can present the main menu.
- One face can direct vehicles into the correct lane.
- The reverse face can show exit information.
- A roadside-facing screen can carry brand advertising.
Traffic safety and driver attention must remain the priority. The cabinet should not be positioned where content distracts road users outside the restaurant site.
Cabinet Depth and Lane Clearance
The brown-toned cabinet shown in the product image has a substantial vertical body. Double-sided construction increases the required depth compared with a single-face display.
The technical drawing should be used to establish curb clearance, foundation position and maintenance space. Both screen faces need protection from accidental vehicle impact without being hidden by barriers.
Outdoor Menu Visibility
The 2500-nit brightness specification supports daytime use. Menu text should still be tested from the vehicle’s actual stopping distance.
Product images, prices and category headings require strong contrast. A larger screen cannot compensate for small lettering or an overcrowded menu.
